When is the right time?

If you are waiting for the perfect moment to make your move, you are waiting for something that doesn’t exist.

Every successful person I have ever worked with shares a common trait: they make a decision at about 70% certainty, not 100%. I have seen so many directors set a six-week deadline to get a project “perfect,” but six weeks later, it still isn’t right. So they add another month, and then another.

The result? The urgency vanishes. The buzz dies. The team loses interest.

The fox does things differently. The fox decides at 70%, picks the date, and gives everyone a firm deadline to work to. And you know what? That is when people come alive. They deliver because they have to. They find solutions because there is no more room for “maybe.”

The right time will never arrive. What exactly are you currently waiting for?
