“I didn’t know you did that.”

“I didn’t know you did that.” Six words that should make you think.

Imagine hearing that from a customer who’s been buying from you for years. Especially when they’ve just paid someone else for something you could have supplied.

They already know you. They trust you. But they only know the part of your business they’ve used.

It’s an easy thing to overlook.

Before you spend more money finding new customers, look at the ones you’ve already got. What do they buy from you? What else could you offer that would genuinely help them?

A restaurant’s regular diners might not know it offers private catering. A builder’s previous customers might not realise it also handles smaller maintenance jobs.

Make those choices clear. Give people a useful reason to buy from you again.

This is where AI can help. Use it to compare the types of customers you serve with your products and services, then suggest relevant offers. Apply your own judgement before putting those ideas in front of anyone.

The aim is to make buying easier, with offers that actually fit.

If you’d like help putting this together, speak to Liam, our marketing guy. He can do it as a one-off job. Just reply and I’ll put you in touch.

And if it’s business finance you need, that’s my department.

Have a great week,
